MISSION STATEMENTImproving access to quality health services, education & resources through community-driven initiatives in Malawi.HISTORYAccess Health Africa is a new organization with 15 years of experience, Access Health Africa grew out of World Camp, Inc., a NGO created in 2000. World Camp initially focused on sending international volunteers to Malawi to educate primary school youth about HIV-prevention.As World Camp grew more established, our vision also grew to address health more broadly. We began to educate about locally-relevant topics such as deforestation and the gender dynamics that helped fuel the spread of HIV.After over a decade of work in Malawi, our reputation enabled us to partner closely with community leaders, addressing health challenges through in-community health interventions, alongside educational initiatives.Access Health Africa is founded upon these relationships & experiences.
