Apothecary of Design specializes in print + brand identity design, where classic typographic style accentuates both the brand and the message of each design. With a history ranging from print and advertising to education and art, Apothecary of Design has developed a design aesthetic that not only meets the changing dynamics of education and culture, but has a well-developed core of understanding related to education, pedagogy, and school administration.Founded by Daniel Nordaas, a trained graphic designer and educator with a background and experience in Waldorf education, Apothecary of Design serves the print and branding needs of Waldorf schools, educational centers, and non profit organizations. As a design studio, we we are comprised of Daniel Nordaas — principal + designer — as well as a freelance team. We strive for timeliness, direct communication, and clarity, where the client's vision is brought to light through both a design and educational framework.Over the years, we have been fortunate to work with some amazing clients on some wonderful projects, ranging from branding, print collateral, and advertising, to instructional design and program development.
