Brave Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization and opportunity-creation hub that seeks to connect, inspire, and empower young Ghanaian women through education, entrepreneurship, and health. Our goal is to create a future where young women have equal opportunities for education, entrepreneurship, and health, regardless of their socioeconomic background. We aim to become the largest female youth skills provider in West Africa. Our programs are designed for young women aged 17-25 years old, particularly those from underserved/underprivileged communities. Our programs are guided by four of the 2030 UN SDGoals: Good Health & Well-being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Decent Work & Economic Growth.TechHer Future: This initiative is focused on bridging the gender gap in technology by providing girls in SHS with access to education, mentorship, and practical skills training in the tech industry. Through workshops, seminars, and hands-on learning experiences, we aim to inspire and prepare the next generation of female leaders in the African tech ecosystem. The Brave Venture Builder: is a tech incubator startup that empowers young Ghanaian women to become leading innovators and entrepreneurs in the African tech space. The incubator provides mentorship, funding, and resources to help young women develop their entrepreneurial skills and build successful tech startups. The Brave Sanitary Pad Bank is a menstrual equity initiative that provides underprivileged girls and young women in schools in Ghana with free sanitary pads, education on menstrual hygiene management and sexual reproductive health education. Our mission is to promote gender equality and empower young girls to stay in school and reach their full potential. We distribute and retail local sanitary pads to raise funds, which are then used to purchase more sanitary pads to donate to disadvantaged girls in need.
