Non-profit art gallery that is for local artists and their supporters that bond together. A select group of local artists that support and promote each other and build a good network of individuals who wish to help support and promote the arts in Knoxville resulting in art of the people without high gallery fees... art that everyone can afford which motivates the artists to continue to strive to better themselves and their skills. We believe art is for everyone, and want to ensure everyone in Knoxville and the East Tennessee area has an opportunity to purchase edgy affordable artwork without the commission markup prices found at those other galleries.Gallery 133 is a not-for-proffit organization dedicated to the artification of Knoxville's empty wall space in downtown Knoxville, the Old City and Market Square, as well as Turkey Creek, West Knoxville, Cedar Bluff, and any other locations where we can find places to hang our artists' work. Our mission is to provide artists with the edge that might shock a typical art gallery, and to create a local community of artists and their supporters who come from all kinds of various backgrounds, each with a different story to tell.
