The Global Impact Film Festival is a four-day showcase of short documentaries and narratives with a focus on issue advocacy, awareness raising, and promoting positive change. Each year we feature dozens of films from all over the world; this year we're proud to say that once again we'll be including films from every continent (minus Antarctica... for now). Our screenings are organized by general topic area. We select films that highlight a wide array of compelling sociocultural, political, and economic issues, including war and migration, the environment and sustainability, gender inequality and sexual abuse, poverty, public health, mental health and addiction, human trafficking, political repression, and many, many more.The focus of our event is to foster and sustain a community of dedicated and talented artists, activists, professionals, issue experts, and educators who are passionate about the power of film to bring people together for the common good.
