Wellness, by any definition, is an attainable goal for anyone.However, the knowledge gap, the result of income disparity, educational limitations and apathy – has put a limit to what each of us could attain. This, combined with a wellness ecosystem that's skewed towards conventional healthcare, means the consumer's choice is often limited by what's dictated by the tripartite of government agencies, pharmaceutical companies and the medical profession.A final challenge is one of access. For far too long, our financial and social standing generally dictates our ability to achieve optimum wellness. Not only is choice limited, access is often inequal.Against this backdrop, Global Wellness Council's mission is to democratize wellness for everyone through the GWC Game Changer™ of: information, choice and access.
