Gurukula Haripur was founded on 11th September 2010 at village Junwani in the district of Nuapara Odisha with the sole aim to revive the ancient Indian Gurukula System of education This institution is established by the Jeevan Kalyan Sadhana Kenra (Regd. no.32/dt.06.07.2009 of 2009 of Kalahandi district Odisha) with the objective of providing an indigenous alternative to Lord Macaulay's education policy by imparting education in the areas of vedic literature Indian philosophy Indian culture modern sciences and research. We at Arya Gurukul believe that the present day education system is designed to produce a good professional but does not necessarily guarantee a good human being and so a distinctive approach is needed in order that the children grow up to be active curious responsible and thinking individuals.
