Integrative Airway Summit (IAS) is a conference focusing on the impact of breathing dysfunction on health and various medical problems, and how to diagnose and treat problems. It is the brainchild of Dr Jeevanan Jahendran, a distinguished otorhinolaryngologist in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.IAS 2022 will be the first conference of its kind and hopefully becomes an annual calendar event in the future. IAS 2022 is also an introduction to the upcoming IAS 2023 happening in 2023 where it will hopefully be a physical event and a more in-depth conference.For this year, the scientific programme will focus on physiology, understanding concepts beyond the boundaries of conventional medicine, and bringing a holistic approach in treatment. Experts will try to explain the "why" before going on to the "how" in the management of these conditions. The emphasis will be on nasal breathing, tongue space and posture, and how it all relates to many health conditions.
