The essence of PEACH (Partnerships for Environmental Action by Clinicians and Communities for Hospitals/Health care facilities) is to engage, encourage, and empower those in the health care sector to take climate action at their site. There are some exciting healthcare related initiatives happening in the province right now. We believe that:• Ontario needs many climate action leaders for planetary health and wellness • We must respect all the different people, perspectives, and voices in the system• Equitable practices rooted in social justice will be a guiding light • Education, expertise & knowledge exchange will empower health care workers• Immediate actions on climate change concerns are vital• We can make a bigger impact by working collaboratively within and across communities
