An awkward phone plug-in battle ensues and suddenly everyone is huddled in the corner fighting over music instead of enjoying the party! Problem solved. POW WOW is a mobile app that makes DJing a collaborative experience, allowing entire groups of people to build playlists in real time. Now whether you're at a party, on a road trip or chilling at home, everyone can add the songs they want to hear from their own devices—onto one organized playlist. As long as one person has a paying Spotify account to stream the Pow Wow, everyone else at the party can join and add the songs they want to hear. Users without Spotify accounts can join any Pow Wow and start adding songs, but you need a paying Spotify account to create and stream. Currently POW WOW is powered by Spotify but will integrate other music services, such as Soundcloud, Rdio and Deezer in the future.
