This makes purchasing on marketplaces safer for buyers and sellers, whilst managing timing for money in and pay outs. By handling the complexities of PSD2 regulation and the real time identification and verification of buyer and seller, Paycast frees up marketplaces to focus on their business success.  Paycast is part of UK Fintech group SPG, founded by CEO Peter Janes in 2016, alongside secure professional services payment solution Shieldpay. In December 2021, SPG completed its latest funding round of Series A, raising a total of £25m.
