At Du Preez The name Pionier is derived from the "Pionier Stoel" (directly translated it is "Pioneer Chair"), a chair that can be seen in our Drostdy Museum right here in Swellendam. This was also the drive behind us to be the pioneers in our field. Providing a personal service to all our clients from the conceptual stage of what you would like your cupboards to look like, till the last speck of dust is wiped off the counter in your newly installed kitchen. In the beginning we only manufactured chairs, an estimated 35 000 plus over the last 24 years. Now, due to demand, we custom-make tables, cupboards, custom made couches and upholstered chairs, beds and many more high quality pieces of furniture that will turn your house into a home to enjoy.
