Punch Brand is best known for their "crazyheads" character based clothing. The idea was developed in 2005 when designer Glynis Tao tagged along with her husband to her first comic convention in Toronto. She was inspired by the creative and elaborate costumes the fans wore at the show. She set out to contribute to this very distinct and colorful world. She bought a meter of fleece and experimented with sewing a few cat and bunny hats. Then she signed up for the next convention. To her amazement, she sold out. That's when crazyheads was born.Glynis used her industry experience to quickly grow Punch Brand by outsourcing production and jumping into her business full time. Since then, Punch Brand relocated to Vancouver and travelled around the world, exhibiting at over 100 conventions across Canada, US and Europe.In 2011, from out of the blue, she got a call from Google. The Android Marketing Team was looking for custom Android hats and hoodies to give away to their developers and top fans. In a short time, she was able to design, develop, produce & deliver the products on time.
