RESILIENCY GROUP LLCMarirose Ungerman is a therapist and the founder of the Resiliency Group LLC located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. She began the practice after graduating at the top of her class and becoming an international honor society member from The Johns Hopkins University. She obtained a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a licensed clinical professional counselor.Marirose created Resiliency Group LLC to help and work with adolescents, adults, families, and trauma survivors. Resiliency Group specializes in adolescents and individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and feelings of low self worth, and the stress that it brings to everyday life. Marirose is dedicated to the care of trauma survivors be it from abuse, assault, or crisis in family therapy. It is not easy to step forward and ask for help but Resiliency Group is a warm and accepting environment where people can heal in order to build inner strength and vigor. In addition, Marirose holds Building Everyday Resilience groups for boys and girls ages 14 to 17. Groups meet once a week for six weeks and each meeting addresses a specific topic. The goal is to provide teenagers with a set of tools to deal with the difficulties in their everyday lives.
