UQ Interfaculty Competitions Inc coordinates sporting competitions between students of different schools and faculties of the University of Queensland.UQIC began in the early 70s and after a period of lying dormant, was reenergized in 2007. 500 students participated in UQIC run Netball and Rugby competitions in 2010 and the number of students participating is expected to grow rapidly with the vigorous expansion into new sporting activities from 2011 onwards.
