Virtic Industries is a startup company founded to develop new and innovative combative training systems that advance the state-of-the-art in physical realism and situational immersion. We are developing a suite of inter-related products packaged with multi-modal training curricula and instrumented with various tools to measure training effectiveness, evaluate performance, and track progress.Our Company name is a mashup of the words Virtual and Haptic, reflecting our use of virtual reality and haptic (tactile) feedback technologies to create physically immersive training systems. We call it Training Reality.Virtic's founders collectively bring decades of experience in company building, product development, military combatives training, law enforcement, robotics, and the martial arts.If we've learned anything thru our experience training elite military and law-enforcement personnel as well as professional fighters, it's that realism in training programs increases their value exponentially.
