Ken has established a reputation for providing creative solutions to business problems to emerging economies internationally. He has over 30 years consulting experience in 33 countries outside of Europe, with over 20 of these in Africa. Most of his work has involved leading and carrying out major institutional and economic reform for Governments and development agencies. Leading & Project Managing programmes across Africa, for example; commercialisation of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs); utilities reform and regulation for power, water, telecoms & transport, and the establishment of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) / concession programmes, & investment options. Ken's works as a Social Economist, supporting employment initiatives, new business start-ups, SMEs. He is currently promoting small scale community development projects under the banner of ' Public Private Community Partnerships '(PPCPs).
