YWCA Ireland is an inter- denominational Christian organisation that wants to make a positive difference in local communities. Founded in 1872, we are one of the oldest YWCA's in the world and the only global women's movement in Ireland. We are passionate about transforming women into leaders! We aim to raise awareness of human rights issues affecting women and encourage our members be the change in their own communities. As Christian women we seek to emulate the example of Jesus Christ in all that we do.
