Contemporary Media, Inc. is a Memphis-based publishing company, producing newspapers and magazines for the Bluff City and the surrounding Mid South Region. Locally-owned and operated, CMi publishes a monthly city magazine (Memphis magazine, founded in 1976), a weekly newspaper, (The Memphis Flyer, founded in 1989), a monthly parenting tabloid (Memphis Parent, founded in 1990), and a bi-monthly businessmagazine, (MBQ: Inside Memphis Business, founded in 2006); it also maintains news and information websites connected with all four publications.Additionally, Contemporary Media operates a custom-publishing division which produces a wide variety of newsletters, magazines, and collateral material for regional corporate clients large and small.
