We establish creative hubs with rural youths in Africa where people can collaborate and solve tangible community problems through their own learning, both peer to peer and virtual.Here, it is all about real life learning as real life is happening. We start with the talent of people, support them to take their own decisions and find solutions to make it profitable.Our participants are in the driver's seat of learning while our facilitators are there to mentor and ask deeper questions.Our curriculum taps into the talents of each participant and tailored to satisfy their individual pursuits.We use asset-based and design thinking learning approach to create mindset and social change in the way young people learn, create and solve problems. Youngstars Foundation is one of Africa's unique, life-changing youth organization operating in Abuja, Nigeria. From a weekly youth club in a local barber shop in 1995, Youngstars Foundation is growing to emerge as one of the lead youth non-profit that is building young people and strengthening youth organizations involved in development programs in Africa.For several years, the organization received no funding but conducted activities in secondary schools until 2003 when it received its first funding from Allen Webster Winners Fund UK. Since then, it has partnered with British Council Nigeria, the Office of the Presidency on MDGs, ICNC USA, LYNX USA, Federal Ministry of Youth Development Nigeria, World Youth Alliance USA, SKYPE UK, IRI Nigeria and NDI Nigeria.
